Abstract:

The 2008 financial crisis, as a result of the financing of modern capitalism, has caused major global damage to countries both economic and social. The 2008 global financial crisis has an important role in the crisis literature due to its scale and impact on the global scale. The financial crisis in the U.S., which began in 2008 due to non-refunded loans in the housing markets, has shown a major spread globally, primarily in European countries. In this study, the factors affecting the 2008 financial crisis, the outcome process of the crisis, the impact on the world financial markets have been evaluated. It also revealed similarities and differences by comparing the 2008 crisis and the 1929 big breakthrough to better explain the effects of the 2008 financial crisis.
