Hemsirelik Ogrencilerine Kendini Tanima ve İletisim Yonetimi Dersinde Uygulanan İnteraktif Ogretim Stratejilerin Etkinligi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmada hemşirelik bölümünün “Kendini Tanıma ve İletişim Yönetimi” dersinde, “interaktif öğretim yöntemler” uygulanan öğrencilerin, öğrenme becerileri ve öğrenmeleri üzerindeki etkilerini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Tek gruplu son test düzeni kullanılan araştırma 83 öğrenciyi kapsamaktadır. Veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Portfolyo Değerlendirme Formları kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veriler sayı, yüzdelik, Mann-Whitney U, Friedman iki yönlü varyans analizi, Wilcoxon eşleştirilmiş iki örnek ve Kruskal Wallis testleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin portfolyolarından aldıkları puanların, konular ilerledikçe anlamlı düzeyde arttığı, bitirme sınavında öğretim programında ele alınan konulardaki toplam puan ortalamalarının, bir önceki öğretim yılındaki öğrencilerin puan ortalamalarından anlamlı düzeyde yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak araştırmamızda kullanılan öğretim stratejilerinin iletişim kavramlarının öğretilmesinde etkili olduğu söylenebilir.

Abstract:

This study examines the effects of the application of interactive teaching strategies in “Self Awareness and Communication Management” course on nursing students’ learning. This research was carried out by using the one group post-test design involves 83 undergraduate nursing students. The data have been gathered through the administration of Individual Information Form and Portfolio Evaluation Forms. Data were evaluated by using percentage, Mann-Whitney U test, Friedman analysis of variance; Wilcoxon matched samples test and Kruskal Wallis test. At the end of the study, it was observed that the scores of the students from Portfolio Evaluation Forms increased significantly as the subjects moved on, final exam scores of the students on topics covered in the teaching program were significantly higher than scores of the students in the previous academic year. As a result of, in our research, it can be said to be effective that used teaching strategies for teaching of concepts related with communication
