Türk Edebiyatında deyimler ve atasözleri mühim bir yer teşkil etmekte olup şairler de kaleme aldığı eserlerinde halkın kullandığı dil malzemeleri olan deyimler ve atasözlerine yer vermiştir. Divan edebiyatının 16. yüzyıl edebî şahsiyetlerinden olan Şair Eyyûbî, geleneğe bağlı olarak kaleme aldığı Menâkıb-ı Sultan Süleyman adlı eserinde deyimler ve atasözlerine sıkça yer vermiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışmamızda kısa bir girişten sonra Eyyûbî’nin hayatından bahsedilmiş, Menâkıb-ı Sultan Süleyman adlı eserde geçen deyimlerin ve atasözlerinin tespit edilip açıklanması ve bilim dünyasına sunulması amaçlanmıştır.
In Turkish literature, the words and speeches are an important place, and the poets have placed the words and speeches that are the language materials that the people use in their works. The poet Eyyubî, who is one of the 16th century literary characters of Divan literature, has often placed his words and speeches in his work named Menâkıb-i Sultan Suleyman, which he has been traded according to the tradition. In this context in our work a short entry after the story of Eyyubî’s life, it is intended to identify and explain the words and speeches that passed in the work of Menâkıbı Sultan Suleyman and to be presented to the world of science.
