Abstract:

Flight attendants working in airline companies are the airline personnel with whom the passengers are in contact from boarding the plane to the landing process. Therefore, it is important to choose a flight attendant for an airline company. The aim of this study is to determine the importance of the criteria that airline companies should take into consideration when recruiting cabin crew and to choose the most suitable one among cabin crew alternatives. Fuzzy SWARA was used to find the criterion weights, and the Fuzzy MARCOS method was used to rank the candidates. In the literature research, it has not been found a study that Fuzzy SWARA and Fuzzy MARCOS methods are used in evaluating the alternatives and the criteria that play a role in the selection of cabin crew and. In the analysis results, it was determined that the three most important evaluation criteria are "education and success status", "foreign language knowledge" and "physical characteristics", respectively. Candidate number 3 was also ranked first as the most suitable flight attendant.
