Bu araştırmanın amacı, STEM uygulamalarının sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerine etkisinin incelenmesidir. Deneysel olarak tasarlanan araştırma, tek grup ön test son test deneysel desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında, Kastamonu Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Eğitimi Programında öğrenim gören ve Fen ve Teknoloji Laboratuvar Uygulamaları I ve II derslerini öğretmen adaylarına Tinkercad programında üç boyutlu tasarım yapma eğitimi verilmiş ve öğretmen adaylarından belirli tasarımları yapmaları istenmiştir. Ardından, TÜBİTAK “Tasarla ve Yap” deneylerinden dört deney seçilerek bu deneyleri kendilerine göre yorumlamaları ve bunları gerçekleştirmek için deney malzemeleri tasarlamaları istenmiştir. Toplam 90 öğretmen adayı ile yürütülen araştırmanın verileri Diker-Coşkun tarafından geliştirilen “Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimleri Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin uygulamalar sonunda anlamlı düzeyde artış gösterdiği görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to study the impact of STEM practices on classmates’ lifelong learning trends. Experimentally designed research was carried out according to the experimental pattern of the single group of pre-test final test. In the framework of the research, students studying in the Faculty of Education of the University of Kastamonu Class Training Program and teachers candidates for the I and II courses of Science and Technology Laboratory Applications were taught to make three-dimensional design in the Tinkercad program and asked them to make specific designs from teachers candidates. Then, by selecting four experiments from TUBITAK's "Design and Make" experiments, they were asked to interpret these experiments according to themselves and to design experimental materials to carry out them. The data of the research conducted with a total of 90 teachers candidates have been collected with the "Life Learning Trends Scale" developed by Diker-Coşkun. The research has shown that class teacher candidates’ lifelong learning tendencies have significantly increased at the end of the practice.
