Future expectations of young people in a society are important factors that determine the development line and dynamics of that society. The aim of the study is to develop a measurement tool that determines the factors that af[1]fect the future expectations of students in the school environment in the process of preparation for higher education. The validity and reliability studies of the scale were conducted with the 348 participants in the first and with 168 participants in the second application. As a result of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, the scale consisting of twenty five items and five factors was found to be theoretically and statistically appropriate. Since there are few tools that measure the factors that affect future expectations in the literature review, it is thought that the scale will contribute to the field in literature and can meet this need.
