Şehrengizler bir yerleşim yerinin güzelliklerini anlatan eserlerdir. Bu eserler umumiyetle mesnevi nazım şekliyle yazılmıştır. Az da olsa başka nazım şekilleriyle yazılan şehrengizler de mevcuttur. Şehrengizler genel olarak münacat bölümüyle başlar, sebeb-i telif ve asıl konunun işlendiği bölüm ile devam eder, hatime bölümüyle sona erer. Bu çalışmada muhteva olarak şehrengiz özellikleri gösteren Yenişehirli Avnî, Örfî Mahmud Ağa ve Müştak Baba’nın şiirleri incelenmiştir. Bu üç şiir de şairlerin divanlarında yer almaktadır. Şiir incelemelerinden önce ilgili şehirlerin bilgileri de verilmiştir. Yenişehirli Avnî’nin şiiri mesnevi nazım şekliyle yazılmış, toplamda 57 beyittir. Örfî Mahmud Ağa’nın şiiri kaside nazım şekliyle kaleme alınmış olup 16 beyittir. Müştak Baba’nın şiiri ise gazel nazım şekliyle yazılmış, toplamda 10 beyittir. Müştak Baba’nın bu şiiri dışında Bitlis övgüsü yaptığı başka bir şiiri de vardır. Bu şiir de gazel nazım şekliyle yazılmıştır, 5 beyittir ve şairin Divan’ında yer almaktadır. Üç şair de şiirlerinde ilgili şehirlerin doğal güzelliklerinin yanında coğrafi unsurlar ve şehrin öne çıkan bazı mahallerini de anlatmış ve şehirlerin güzellerini methetmeyi ihmal etmemiştir. Yenişehirli Avnî Yenişehir’deki bazı kişileri isimleriyle zikretmiştir.
The towns are the works that tell the beauty of a settlement. These works are generally written in the form of mesnevi nazim. There are also some other forms of scripture in the city. Cities generally begin with the provision section, the reason-i continues with the section where the original subject is processed, ends with the line section. In this work, the poems of Newşehirli Avnî, Örfî Mahmud Ağa and Müştak Baba, which showed the city-free characteristics, were studied. Three of these poems are in the poems. The city has also received information before the poem examination. The Poetry of New Jersey is written in the form of a mesnevi nazim, in total 57 beits. The poem of Örfî Mahmud Ağa is caught in the form of Nazim and is 16 beits. The poetry of the client is written in the form of a gazel nazim, with a total of 10 beits. There is another poem that the Father’s poet has made, in addition to this poem, Bitlis praise. This poem is also written in the form of a gazel nazim, it is 5 beits and is in the poet's Divan. Three poets also described in their poems the natural beauty of the cities and the geographical elements and some of the city’s outstanding neighborhoods, and did not forget to see the beauty of the cities. Some of the people in New York were named by their names.
Sehrengiz poems are works that describe the beauties of a settlement. These works are generally written in the form of mesnevi verse. There are also a few sehrengiz poems written in other forms of verse. They generally start with the praying section, then continue with the section in which the poet states the reason for writing the poem and goe on with the part in which the main subject is covered and come to an end with the epilogue section. In this study, the poems of Yenişehirli Avnî, Örfî Mahmud Ağa and Müştak Baba, which show the sehrengiz features as content, were examined. All these three poems take place in the divan of the poets. The information of the relevant cities was also given before the poetry studies. Yenişehirli Avnî’s poem is written in masnavi form and consists of 57 couplets in total. Örfî Mahmud Ağa’s poem was written in ode form and is 16 couplets. Müştak Baba’s poem was written in ghazal form and is composed of 10 couplets. Apart from this one, Müştak Baba has another poem praising Bitlis. This poem was also written in ghazal form, is five couplets and takes place in poet’s divan. Üç In addition to the natural beauties of the relevant cities, the three poets also explained the geographical elements and some of the prominent neighborhoods of the city and did not neglect the beauty of the cities. Yenişehirli Avnî mentioned some people in Yenişehir by their names.
