Ortodontik tedavi sırasında ağız içine uygulanan hareketli aygıtlar basit diş hareketleri, fonksiyonel ortopedik tedavi, yavaş ve hızlı genişletme, pekiştirme ve yer tutucu amacıyla rutin olarak kullanılmaktadır. Ortodontik tedavi amacıyla hareketli aygıt kullanan hastalarda ağız bakımının yeterince sağlanamaması durumunda, aygıt yüzeylerinin kirlenmesi ve mikroorganizmaların bu yüzeylere tutunması kaçınılmaz olacaktır. Bu derlemenin amacı hareketli aygıtların temizlenmesinde ve dezenfeksiyonunda kullanılan mekanik ve kimyasal yöntemler hakkında bilgi vermektir.
Moving devices applied to the mouth during orthodontic therapy are used routine for simple tooth movements, functional ortopedic therapy, slow and fast expansion, strengthening and holding. If patients using mobile devices for the purposes of orthodontic treatment do not have sufficient oral care, the surface of the device will be contaminated and microorganisms will be held on these surfaces. The purpose of this collection is to provide information about the mechanical and chemical methods used in the cleaning and disinfection of moving devices.
