Bartter syndrome are characterized by normal blood pressure, hypokalemia, metabolic alkalosis, prostaglandinuria, hyperreninemia and hyperaldosteronism and defined as a family of inherited recessive autosomal tubulopathies. Pseudo-Bartter’s syndrome may produce a hypokalemic metabolic alkalosis without primary renal disease. The underlying illnesses are primary hyperaldosteronism, Cushing syndrome, hypertrophic pyloric stenosis, cystic fibrosis and some drogs. In this article a 3 mounts old boy who diagnosed cystic fibrosis presenting as a pseudo-Bartter’s syndrome was evaluated.
