Abstract:

Geleneksel olarak tüm dünyada aile bakımı yaşlının bakımında etkin bir role sahiptir. Aile bireylerinin bakıma muhtaç yaşlının bakımında geleneksel rolleri devam ederken, ülke ekonomisi bakımından da güçlü katkılar sunmaktadır. Yaşlı nüfusun artması ile birlikte artan bakım harcamaları karşısında sosyal politika düzenlemeleri içinde ailenin bakımda etkin rol almalarını sağlayacak düzenlemelere daha fazla ağırlık verilmeye başlanmıştır. Bu çalışma, yaşlıların uzun süreli bakımında rol alan aile bireylerinin bakım hizmetinin görünmeyen maliyetinin ekonomik boyutunu ortaya koymaya yönelik bir derleme çalışmasıdır.
