The aim of this study is to examine, optimize, and make the cost analysis of a system that is thermodynamicly modeled in a computer environment for the use of geothermal energy in hydrogen production, using thermodynamic and economic methods. In this study, a liquid geothermal source was used in the electricity production and in this electric electrolysis unit was used as a work entry in the water's hydrogen and oxygen breakdown. The maximum net work obtained from the geothermal power circuit when the system is operated with a simulation program in a computer environment is 8063 kW. The unit energy cost of this electricity is $0,0107/kWh. With the use of the electricity produced for the production of hydrogen in the direct electrolysis unit, the dust of the hydrogen produced from the system is calculated at 0.053 kg/s. The unit cost of the hydrogen is estimated at $2767/kg H2. As a result of the system’s life cycle cost analysis, the Net Current Value (NPV) is estimated at $35,340,000. The leveled annual cost method (LAC) is estimated at $3,395,000/yr. The system's simple return time (Nsbp) is estimated to be 4.047 years. The reduced reimbursement period (Ndbp) is estimated to be 5,442 years.
