While peripheral arterial aneurysms are often seen in the popliteal and femoral artery, under the popliteal level they are rarely encountered. Most of the aneurysms at this level are post-traumatic pseudoaneurysms and are often seen in the a.tibialis anterior. Although there is not a standard method for the treatment, the options varies according to the patient’s general condition, location, shape, and size of the pseudoaneurysm. In this study, the case of an-eleven-year-old boy who was brought by parents with swelling and pain at the level of medial malleous, in the left lower extremity which developed after trauma and suturing, and who was applied pseudoaneurysm resection and saphenous vein interposition upon determining posterior tibial artery pseudoaneurysm was reported considering the literature.
