XX. yüzyıla girerken başta Dünya Savaşları olmak üzere Dünya Tarihi’nde büyük siyasal manevralara neden olan olaylar yaşanmıştır. Yaşanan olaylar dünyanın siyasi, askeri, ekonomik, kültür, sanat ve sınırlarının tümden değişmesine neden olan olaylardır. 1970’lere gelindiğinde ise yaşanan olaylar silsilesinin Ortadoğu’daki en önemli halkası ise 1979 yılındaki İran İslam Devrimi olmuştur. İran İslam Devrimi, 2500 yıllık İran monarşisinin son monarkı olan Şah Muhammed Rıza Pehlevi’ye karşı Humeyni ve taraftarları tarafından verilen mücadele sonunda gerçekleşmiştir. Öte yandan Dünya Tarihi’nin birçok evresinde çeşitli devrimler yaşanmıştır. Yaşanan devrimler ise genellikle demokrasi, insan hakları ve kültürel unsurlar içeren devrimlerdir. Fakat bunların haricinde tarihte ilk kez bir halk devrimi sonucunda İslami bir cumhuriyet kurulmuştur. İslami cumhuriyetin kurulması yolunda İran’da yaşanan olaylar ve olayların bir halk harekâtına dönüşmesini sağlayan dönüm noktaları olmuştur. Dönüm noktalarından birisi ise İran ve Ortadoğu Tarihi için önemli bir yere sahip olan 19 Ağustos 1978 tarihinde 377 kişinin yanarak can verdiği Rex Sineması Faciasıdır. Dünya Tarihi’ndeki en büyük terör saldırılarından biri olarak da kabul edilen bu facia, İran İslam Devrimi’nin gerçekleşmesini hızlandıran olaylardan birisidir. Çalışmada Pehlevi Hanedanlığı’ndan Rex Sineması Faciasına kadar İran İslam Devrimine giden süreç ele alınarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman ve belge analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Böylece arşiv belgeleri, gazeteler, hatıratlar ve dönemi anlatan diğer kaynaklar incelenerek objektif bir çalışma ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır.
The XX. During the century, events that originated great political maneuveres in the history of the world, including the first World Wars, occurred. The events are the events that make the political, military, economic, cultural, art and boundaries of the world change. In the 1970s, the most important circle of events in the Middle East was the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. The Islamic Revolution of Iran took place at the end of the struggle given by Humeyni and his supporters against Shah Mohammed Rıza Pehlevi, the last monarch of the 2500 year old Iranian monarchy. On the other hand, many stages of world history have experienced various revolutions. Revolutions are often revolutions that include democracy, human rights and cultural elements. For the first time in history, an Islamic Republic was established as a result of a popular revolution. In the way of the establishment of the Islamic Republic, the events and events in Iran have been the turning points that make it a popular movement. One of the turning points is the Rex Film Faction, which took an important place in Iran and the Middle East history, in which 377 people were killed by fire on August 19, 1978. This faction, also considered one of the greatest terror attacks in world history, is one of the events that accelerated the occurrence of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. In the study, the process from the Pehlevi Dynasty to the Rex Cinema Facia to the Iranian Islamic Revolution was addressed using the method of document and document analysis from the quality research methods. Thus, an objective study was sought to be revealed by examining archive documents, newspapers, reminders and other sources that describe the period.
