Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the level of self-qualification of the Turkish lesson of the eighth class students. The study’s work group consists of a total of 380 people, including 197 girls and 183 boys, from three kinds of high school selected from the Afyonkarahisar province with the appropriate sampling method in the 2016-2017 educational year. The research was done by general scanning of a variety of scanning models, which is a quantum research method. In the study, the scale of the Turkish lesson prepared by Durukan and Maden (2012) was used by the scale of self-capacity perception. In the analysis of the data, a one-way variance analysis and gender analysis, a non-school support variable, a mother education status variable and a father education status variable, has been used in terms of t-test. The meaning level is .05 for all tests. The research findings showed significant differences in terms of Turkish self-qualification levels, gender, school type, parents' educational status and receiving assistance outside the class teacher. In the study, the Cronbach α ratio calculated in relation to the reliability of the scale was 0.92. In addition, the level of Turkish self-qualification of eighth class students is high.
