Abstract:

The research was carried out with the aim of determining the competence perceptions of the 21st century skills of the tourism guidance department students. Furthermore, the qualification perceptions of the 21st-century skills of the tourism guidance department are compared in terms of gender, classroom, graduate high school, where the family lives, the desire to undergraduate education and the variables in the reading habits. From this point of view, research is an imaginary study in the scan model. The sample of the study consists of a total of 75 students studying in the Tourism Guide Department in the 2020-2021 educational year. The data collection used the "Personal Information Form" and the "21st Century Skills Qualification Perception Scale". In data analysis, the frequency, percentage, arithmetic average and intergroup comparisons have been used by independent sampling t-tests and one-way variance analysis (Anova) techniques.
