Adana and Mersin are among the provinces where the large population in the district of Çukurova is hosted by large voter crowds and in terms of the number of parliamentarians they have issued in the elections, they are among the provinces where the political parties pay great attention and show special interest. After the Presidential government system adopted by the 16th April 2017 referendum in Turkey, it was recognized that the parties were able to participate in general elections in the form of Alliances. On June 24, 2018, the presidential elections were held together with general elections. In this study, in order to contribute to the understanding of how the coalition system puts on the election results, the general elections of 1 November 2015 and the general elections of 24 June 2018 will be analysed comparatively on the micro-level Mersin and Adana. If you look at the 2018 election results, it is clear that in Adana and Mersin the Republican Alliance parties have received a significant decline compared to the 1st November 2015 election. In this regard, it can be said that the coalition system does not benefit both parties much. Furthermore, it was surprising that the coalition formation in both provinces did not give many results to the benefit of the CHP and the main opposition party could not make the expected outcome in the election where the power party was lost, the opposite suffering. This situation is also clear that, in fact, under the Alliance roof there is no barge concerns, unfaithful voters do not see any beis in the direction of the small parties.
