Bu çalışmada, Yığılca (Düzce) Balköy Bal Üretim Ormanı’ nın florası incelenmiştir. Çalışma alanı, Batı Karadeniz Bölgesi içerisinde yer almaktadır ve toplam 150 ha büyüklüğündedir. Alanın yükseltisi 700-1100 metre arasında değişmektedir. Bölge Flora of Turkey’in kareleme sistemine göre A3 karesi içerisinde yer almaktadır.
In this study, the flora of the Balköy Honey Production Forest was studied. The work area is located within the West Black Sea Area and is a total size of 150 ha. The height of the area varies between 700-1100 meters. The area is located within the A3 square according to the Flora of Turkey's square system. In the period 2019-2020, a total of 159 plants have been collected. According to the plant diagnoses, a total of 138 taxons of 46 families and 97 species were identified. Only one endemic taxon has been detected in the area and a new record for the A3 square has been established. The plant taxons identified in the field of study are distributed according to the phytocographical regions as follows: European-Siberian elements: 41.3%, Iran-Turan elements: 0.72%, Mediterranean elements: 3. It is 62. 55.07 percent of the taxons are widespread or phytocographic areas unknown. Asteraceae is a family of 15 species with the most species, and Asteraceae is a family of 21 species. The largest species is defined as Cirsium with 5 taxons. When the plant taxons were studied according to the life forms of Raunkiaer (1934) there was a distribution as follows: 28 taxons (%20.29) Fanerofits, 2 taxons (%1.45) Kamefits, 89 taxons (%64.49) Hemicryptofits, 10 taxons (%7.25) Cryptofits [8 taxons (%5.80) Geofits + 2 taxons (%1.45) Hydrofits] and 9 taxons (%6.52) Terofits.
