Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de toplumsal cinsiyet kavramı üzerine yapılan çalışmaları çeşitli değişkenler açısından analiz etmek ve yeni yapılacak olan çalışmalara farklı bakış açıları getirerek alana katkı sağlamaktır. Araştırma için Google Akademik ve YÖK Ulusal Tez Veri Tabanında “toplumsal cinsiyet” ve “cinsiyet algısı” anahtar kelimeleri taratılmıştır. Bu araştırmada eğitim ve sosyal bilimler alanında 2007-2020 yılları ile sınırlandırılan, toplumsal cinsiyet kavramını konu alan 32 çalışma incelenmiştir. Araştırmaların analizinde doküman analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; 2007 yılından 2020 yılına kadar ilgili konuyla alakalı çalışmalarda artışın olduğu, 1 çalışma dışında diğerlerinin Türkçe dilinde yazıldığı, çalışma grubunun büyük çoğunluğunu okul öncesi çocuklarının oluşturduğu, konuyla ilgili çalışmaların en fazla Marmara Bölgesi ve İç Anadolu Bölgesi’nde yürütüldüğü, en fazla çalışma yapılan üniversitenin Hacettepe Üniversitesi olduğu, çalışmaların çoğunda nicel yaklaşımın benimsendiği, veri toplama aracı olarak sıklıkla ölçek, veri analiz yöntemi olarak da içerik analizinin kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to analyze studies on the concept of gender in Turkey in terms of various variables and contribute to the field by introducing different perspectives on studies to be conducted. For the study, the keywords “gender” and “gender perception” were searched in Google Scholar and CoHE National Thesis Database. In the field of education and social sciences, 32 studies on the concept of gender, limited to the years 2007-2020, were examined in this study. Document analysis technique was used in the analysis of studies. As a result of the research, it was found that, from 2007 to 2020, there was an increase in the studies on the relevant subject, all studies except one were written in Turkish, the majority of the study group consisted of pre-school children, studies on the subject were mostly conducted in the Marmara Region and Central Anatolia Region, and Hacettepe University was the university where the most studies were carried out, the quantitative approach was adopted in most of the studies, scales were frequently used as data collection tools, and content analysis was used as the data analysis method.
