Özet:

A Külliyāt (collected works) that covers almost all of Babur Shah's works is housed in Tehran's Gulistan (formerly Saltanati/Royal) Library. Although we had information about this Külliyāt in the early period, reliable data could not be obtained due to displacements, misclassifications and pagination errors. This Turkish manuscript, written in a very legible nastaʿlīq calligraphic style and accompanied by a Persian translation under each line, is an exquisite and important source in many respects. Apart from the Chagatai Bābūrnāme with Persian translation that is included in the manuscript of Külliyāt , one of Babur's other most important works in it is the ‘Aruz Risālesi (Treatise on Prosody), which was previously known for its Paris copy. The work has three copies, including the one we identified during our studies at the Marma University Central Library, and is the most comprehensive Turkish prosody guide. It includes necessary explanations and plenty of examples of Turkish and Persian prosody and all their meters in both languages. Also, in a section that was added later, more than five hundred meters were formulated and explained in one single couplet. This study is also vital because it is an example of Turkish prose besides the science of prosody and the anthology value of the quotes it contains. The copy we focus on helps to solve many problems, especially in the appendix, with the help of its Persian translation. The fact that the Royal or Saltanatî Library was moved to the Golestan Palace Museum Library today and the incomplete descriptions of the copy led to incomplete information and inaccuracies about the Babur's Külliyāt. This study aims to investigate these issues and resolve and correct the misinterpretations.
