Bu çalışma Uludağ Üniversitesi Sağlık Yüksekokulu 1. ve 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin empatik ve problem çözme becerilerini ve etkileyen sosyo-demografik faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 189 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veriler Taylan’ın problem çözme beceri (PÇB) ölçeği ile Dökmen tarafından hazırlanan empati beceri (EB) ölçeği ve öğrencilerin tanımlayıcı özelliklerini belirlemeye yönelik araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Veri analizinde ANOVA, bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve korelasyon kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin EB puan ortalaması 137.61±18.425, PÇB puan ortalaması 86.43±15.437olarak belirlendi. Öğrencilerin GANO’ları ve PÇB puanları arasında ilişki tespit edildi. Öğrencinin mezuniyet sonrası çalışmak istediği alan ile PÇB puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır
This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the empathic and problem-solving skills and socio-demographic factors that influence the students of the 1st and 4th grade of the National University of Health High School. The study group consisted of 189 students. The data was collected with the survey form prepared by the researchers to determine the problem-solving skills scale and the empathy skills scale (EB) prepared by Dökmen and the identifying characteristics of the students. In data analysis, ANOVA used t tests and correlations in independent groups. The average EB score of students was 137.61±18.425, the average PCHB score was 86.43±15.437 The relationship between the students' GANOs and PÇB points was identified. A statistically significant difference between the field in which the student wants to work after graduation and the PCHB scores has been identified
