Ergenlerin Duygu Düzenleme Becerileri, Öznel İyi Oluşu Artırma Stratejileri ve Yas Düzeyinin Riskli Davranışları Üzerindeki Etkisi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada ergenlerin duygu düzenleme becerileri, öznel iyi oluşu artırma stratejileri ve yas düzeyinin riskli davranışları üzerindeki etkisi incelenmektedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 14-18 yaş aralığında 865 lise öğrencisi ergen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama sürecinde Riskli Davranışlar Ölçeği, Ergenler İçin Duygu Düzenleme Ölçeği, Ergenler İçin Öznel İyi Oluşu Artırma Stratejileri Ölçeği, Yas Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde; Bağımsız Örneklem t-Testi, Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Katsayısı ve ANCOVA analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, ergenlerin riskli davranışlarının cinsiyete göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği; riskli davranışlar ile yas düzeyi, duygu düzenleme becerileri ve öznel iyi oluşu artırma stratejileri arasında anlamlı düzeyde ilişki bulunduğu; ergenlerin yas düzeylerinin riskli davranışları üzerinde etkili olduğu, bu süreçte duygu düzenleme becerileri ve öznel iyi oluşu artırma stratejilerinin yas sürecindeki ergenlerin riskli davranışlara yöneliminde çoklu etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçların ergen riskli davranışlarını önleme ve müdahale sürecine katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract:

This study examines adolescent’s emotional regulation skills, objective well-being enhancement strategies and the impact of sadness levels on risky behaviors. The study group consists of 865 high school students between the ages of 14-18 years. The data collection process used the Risk Behavior Scale, the Adult Emotional Regulation Scale, the Adult Objective Goodness Increasing Strategies Scale, the Law Scale and the Personal Information Form. In the analysis of the data; independent sample t-test, Pearson Moments Collapse Correlation Scorecard and ANCOVA analysis were used. The study found that risky behaviors of adolescents vary significantly from gender to gender; that there was a significant link between risky behaviors and the level of sadness, the ability to regulate emotions and the strategies for improving subjective well-being; that the level of sadness of adolescents was effective on risky behaviors; that the ability to regulate emotions and the strategies for improving subjective well-being in this process had a multi-effect on the direction of risky behaviors of adolescents in the process of sadness. It is believed that these results will contribute to the process of prevention and intervention of risky behavior.

This study examines adolescents, their emotion regulation skills, strategies to increase subjective well-being, and the effect of grief on their risk behaviors. The study group consists of 865 high school adolescents between the ages of 14-18. In the data collection process, Risk Behavior Scale, The Adolescent Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, the Subjective Well-Being Increasing Scale for Adolescents, the Grief Scale, and the Personal Information Form were used. In the analysis of the data, the Independent Sample t-Test, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and ANCOVA analysis were used. As a result of the study, it was found that adolescents' risk behaviors differ significantly by gender; and that there is a significant relationship between risk behaviors and grief level, emotion regulation skills, and strategies to increase subjective well-being. It was determined that adolescents' grief levels are effective on their risk behaviors, and strategies to increase their emotion regulation skills and subjective well-being have multiple effects on the orientation of adolescents to risk behaviors during the grief process. These results are thought to contribute to the prevention and intervention process of adolescent risk behaviors.
