Yerel, bölgesel, ulusal ve uluslararası spor organizasyonları ülkelerin ekonomileri üzerinde önemli etkileri bulunmakla beraber düzenlendiği bölgenin altyapısı, turizmin canlanması ve yerel halkın sosyalleşmesi üzerinde de bir dizi etkisi mevcuttur. Bu çalışmanın amacı yerel halkın uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma kapsamında ayrıca uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına yönelik halkın tutumunun yaş, cinsiyet, gelir durumu, meslek durumu ve sporla ilgilenme gibi değişkenler açısından farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Tarama modeli ile yapılan bu çalışma kapsamında Sakarya ilinin Adapazarı ilçesine bağlı Karaman mahallesinde yaşayan insanların uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına yönelik tutumlarının incelenmiştir. 82 kadın ve 118 erkek olmak üzere toplam 200 kişi araştırmanın örneklem grubunu oluşturmuştur. Bu araştırma kapsamında veriler demografik soruların yanı sıra Aktaş ve Kan (2018) tarafından geliştirilen Uluslararası Spor Organizasyonlarına Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Verilerin normal dağıldığı görüldüğünden verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler yapılmış ve parametrik ölçümlerden yararlanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak yaş, cinsiyet, gelir durumu, meslek durumunda anlamlı farklılık tespit edilememiş ancak spora ilgilenme durumunda anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür. Araştırmaya katılanların olumlu duygu ve davranışsal tutum alt boyutlarından ortalamanın üzerinde, olumsuz duygu alt boyutundan ise ortalamanın altında puanlara sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılanların genel olarak uluslararası spor organizasyonlarına yönelik olumlu duygular beslediği söylenebilir.
Local, regional, national and international sports organizations have a significant impact on the economies of the countries and have a number of impacts on the infrastructure of the region where they are organized, the resurrection of tourism and the socialization of the local people. The aim of this study is to examine the attitudes of the local people towards international sports organizations. The study also aims to determine whether the attitude of the public towards international sports organizations differs in terms of variables such as age, gender, income status, occupational status and sport interest. In the framework of this study with the screening model, the attitudes of people living in the Karaman district connected to the Adapazari district of Sakarya have been studied towards international sports organizations. A total of 200 people, including 82 women and 118 men, formed the sample group of the study. In this study, the data was obtained through demographic questions as well as the Attitude Scale to International Sports Organizations developed by Aktaş and Blood (2018). Since the data appears to be normally distributed, identifying statistics have been made in the analysis of the data and parametric measurements have been used. As a result, a significant difference in age, gender, income status, occupational status has not been identified but a significant difference has been observed in the case of interest in sport. The researchers found that the positive emotions and behavioral attitudes were above the average and the negative emotions below the average. It can be said that the researchers generally feed positive emotions towards international sports organizations.

The aim of this study is to examine the attitudes of local people towards international sports organizations. Within the scope of this research, it is also aimed to determine whether the attitudes of the public towards international sports organizations differ in terms of variables such as age, gender, income status, occupational status and interest in sports. Within the scope of this study, which was carried out with the scanning model, the attitudes of the people living in the Karaman neighborhood of the Adapazarı district of Sakarya province towards international sports organizations were examined. Parametric tests were used due to the normal distribution of the data. As a result, no significant difference was found in age, gender, income status, occupation status, but a significant difference was observed in the case of interest in sports. It was determined that the participants in the study had scores above the average in the sub-dimensions of positive emotion and behavioral attitude, and below the average in the sub-dimension of negative emotion. Participants of the research generally have positive feelings towards international sports organizations.
