İŞ-YAŞAM ÇATIŞMASININ ÇALIŞANIN DAVRANIŞSAL SONUÇLARINA ETKİSİ VE İŞ STRESİNİN ARACILIK ROLÜ

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, çalışanların iş-yaşam çatışmalarının davranışsal sonuçları üzerindeki etkisinin ve bu etkide iş stresinin aracılık rolünün incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul Anadolu yakasında bulunan 10 resmi ortaöğretim okulunda görev yapan 201 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışanlardan anket tekniği ile toplanan veriler, araştırma çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre iş-yaşam çatışması boyutlarından iş-aile çatışması ile iş stresi ve işten ayrılma niyeti arasında pozitif, iş-aile çatışması ile örgütsel bağlılık ve iş tatmini arasında ise negatif bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca iş stresinin iş-aile çatışması ile örgütsel bağlılık ve işten ayrılma niyeti arasındaki ilişkide kısmi aracılık etkisi iş tatmini ile arasındaki ilişkide ise tam aracılık etkisi bulunmaktadır.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of workers’ work-life conflicts on behavioral consequences and the role of the mediation of work stress in this effect. The sample of the study is made up of 201 teachers who work in 10 official secondary schools located on the Anadolu side of Istanbul. The data collected from these employees through the survey technique was analyzed in the framework of the research. According to the findings of the study, between the dimensions of the work-life conflict and the work-family conflict and the work stress and the intention to leave the job, the work-family conflict and the organizational commitment and the work satisfaction have a negative relationship. Work stress also has a partial mediation effect on the relationship between work-family conflict and organizational commitment and the intention to leave the job; the relationship between work satisfaction and work satisfaction has a full mediation effect.
