In this study, Georges Mathieu has studied how the work he has done with a paint and a brush in the Lirik Soyut paintings and automatic and caligraphic trends and how this way of narration is directed. In this context, the connection of Automatism and Kaligraphy with Lirik Soyut images is also overwhelmed. In Lirik Soyut Picture, Mathieu, while creating his individual and original stories, used the paint as a plastic object in his work and presented his inner reactions as a attitude. Thus, to express the pure feeling uncontrollably, he directed his work with a paint, which is a material that allows random formations on the surface. Lirik Soyut artist Mathieu has reached the self by the spirituality created by spiritual intuition, the self within him. In the works created by this method, the artist acted instantly, without a rule, in a random image, with a completely intuitive outlook, without any prediction of any conclusion. By examining Georges Mathieu’s work with the images that form the transmission of instant and very fast movements to the surface by caligraphic objects and automatism, this intensity and self-conduction brought, it was evaluated how he materially supported this situation with the paint and how he showed an understanding.
