Abstract:

The technology nowadays provides many opportunities for the businesses. These opportunities allow businesses to shake off their clumsy structure, economically benefit by replacing unproductive labor, and provide fast, high quality and affordable service for their customers. Considering libraries as businesses, they have to provide fast, high quality and affordable services for their customers, in other words readers/researchers as well. Such service is only possible via transitioning the printed materials into the digital world. Without time, location and source limitation, a digital library providing fast and up to date information in variety of formats, offers high quality service and budget efficiency
