Almanya`da İslam din dersinin kamu okullarında verilmeye başlamasıyla birlikte dersin hem anayasaya uygun bir ders niteliğinde verilebilmesi hem de Müslümanların istek ve beklentilerine uygun şekilde verilebilmesi yönündeki çabalar da devam etmektedir. İslam din dersinin henüz teşekkül sürecinde olması nedeniyle en çok merak edilen noktalardan biri de Müslüman ailelerin dersten beklentilerinin ne olduğu konusudur. Bu amaçla bu çalışmada Almanya’nın Baden Württemberg eyaletinin 2018/2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında kamu okullarında pilot proje olarak uygulanan İslam din dersinden, öğrenci velilerinin dersin işleyişi ve uygulamasına yönelik dersten beklentileri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri açık üçlü sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma örneklemi 11 öğrenci velisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada alt ve üst kategoriler yardımıyla veli beklentileri ifade edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre, velilerin İslam din dersinin kamu okullarında verilmesinden oldukça memnun oldukları görülmüştür. Veliler İslam din dersinin bütün okullarda ve sınıf düzeylerinde yaygınlaştırılması gerektiği görüşündedirler. Velilere göre dersin içeriği, öğrencilerin dini ilgi ve ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda geliştirilerek detaylandırılmalıdır. Veliler ders konu alanlarının derinleştirilmesini, dersin bilgi ve ibadet odaklı hale getirilmesini beklemektedirler. Dersin öğretmenleriyle iletişime geçmek, ders hakkında daha fazla bilgi sahibi olmak ve ders etkinliklerine destek vermek önemli veli beklentileri arasında yer almaktadır. İslam din dersinin genel olarak veli beklentilerine uygun olduğu, dersin öğrenciler üzerinde dini bilgi ve davranış kazanımı ile dini gelişimini sağladığı anlaşılmaktadır. İslam din dersinin, hem Müslüman toplumun dini kimlik inşasında hem de Alman toplumu içindeki diğer dinden olanlarla insanı ilişkilerin geliştirilmesinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmektedir.
In Germany, with the beginning of the teaching of the Islamic religion in public schools, efforts continue to ensure that the teaching can be given as a constitutional class and that it can be given according to Muslims’ desires and expectations. One of the most concerned points is what the Muslim families expect from the class is, because the Islamic religion is still in the process of teaching. For this purpose, the study examined the expectations of the course from the Islamic religion course applied as a pilot project in public schools in the 2018/2019 educational year of the Baden-Württemberg state of Germany, and the expectations of the course from the course to the functioning and application of the course. The research method has been used. The research data was collected through a semi-configured interview technique consisting of open triple questions. The study consists of 11 students. The research has expressed their expectations with the help of the lower and upper categories. According to the research, the parents were very pleased with the teaching of the Islamic religion in public schools. The ancestors believe that the Islamic religion should be spread in all schools and classes. The content of the course should be detailed according to the students' religious interests and needs. The teachers are waiting for the deepening of the subject fields, the teaching and the worship to be focused on the knowledge. Communicating with the teachers of the course, getting more information about the course, and supporting the course activities are among the important values expectations. It is understood that the Islamic religion course in general meets the wise expectations, that the course provides religious development with the acquisition of religious knowledge and behavior on students. It is seen that the Islamic religion has an important influence on the building of religious identity of the Muslim society and on the development of human relations with those of other religions within the German society.
