Abstract:

Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu is one of the versatile names of Turkish art. In addition to his paintings, he has an important place in Turkish culture and art with his poetry and essays. It is seen that the artist makes use of the traditional - modern combination in all his artistic productions. Eyüboğlu is among the artists who re-established tradition in his art. He has great admiration for tradition, especially the tradition fed by folk culture. He clearly states that this admiration is influenced by folk poetry and culture in his works. In this study, the poem "Yar Yüreğin Yar", which is suitable for Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu's understanding of art, has been analyzed from a stylistic point of view. Stylistics is one of the text-oriented reading styles developed differently from traditional analysis approaches. It provides the reader and the researcher with a model for to act on the linguistic structures of the text. In this direction, it makes use of the criteria of parallelism, repetition, precedence and deviation. The analysis of the poem was carried out in two parts. In the first part, "Speech Elements" were evaluated in terms of "Setup and Building Drafts" in the second part. In the first reading, the reader encounters a plain, plain and simple saying in the poem. In this, the frequent use of the artist's spoken language and the patterns that have an important place in the vocabulary of the Turkish language are effective. It gives an impression (sehl-i mumteni) that anyone can easily say. However, in addition to the ease of his utterance, the fictional structure created by supporting intertextual relations and cultural ties has gained a philosophical depth to poetry. While the poet was trying to catch the human and human essence in terms of content, he was able to realize the unity of form and essence with the linguistic choices he made.
