The subject of jealousy, which can be seen in literature of every community, has a very important place in Turkish literature, especially in Divan poetry. As we have found its expression within the framework of the word "Jalousy" from the concept of hased to the namus understanding of many different attitudes of jealousy are thrown into poetry, we can see in our classical literature. The feeling of jealousy that comes to us in the relationship between the lover, the lover and the rival triangle, mostly meets the feelings of the lover towards the rival. We can evaluate this topic in our poem in four different fields: jealousy of what you love, jealousy of the rival poet, jealousy of the "other" and jealousy of the concept of effort in the poem. Identifying these four fields in the desire to identify the possibility of more detailed and specific research for each, is the basis for this article. In this article, we should note that the subject of jealousy is focused only on the processing styles in the poetry of Devan, and that the same subject is a field that can be studied in love-saz literature and in the literature of the subsequent periods of Tanzimat. As a result, this study – remaining within the limits of the article – aimed at attracting attention to the reflections of the concept of jealousy in our classical poetry with the examples chosen from the relevant texts and leading to more comprehensive scientific research.
