Türk Müziği Usûl Eğitim-Öğretiminde Kullanılan Yazılı Kaynaklardaki Usûl Bahsine İlişkin İfadelerin Mukayesesi

Abstract:

Türk müziğinin iki temel unsurundan biri olan usûl Türk müziğinin icrasında, eğitim-öğretiminde ve geleceğe intikal ettirilmesinde önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu sebeple usûl bilmek, geleneksel eğitim modeli olan meşk sisteminde ön koşul olarak belirlenmiştir. Dolayısıyla usûl kavramına ilişkin ifadeler de (usûl, ritim, düzüm, ölçü, gider, metronom, darb, mertebe ve velvele) usûlün anlaşılabilmesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Mezkûr kavramların öğrenilmesi ve aktarılmasında yazılı kaynaklarda farklılıklar gözlenmektedir. Batı müziği notasyonunun Türk müziğinde yaygınlık kazanmasıyla bu alanda yazılan teori kitapları günümüze gelene dek artış göstermiştir ve bu kitapların birçoğunda usûllere de yer verilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, XX. yüzyıldan itibaren Türk Müziği usûllerine yönelik kaleme alınmış kitaplardaki usûl ve usûlü oluşturan dinamiklerin tanımları irdelenmiş bu tanımlara yönelik değerlendirmelere ve yorumlara yer verilmiştir. Türk Müziği usûl eğitim-öğretiminde kullanılan yazılı kaynaklardaki usûl kavramına ilişkin ifadelerin irdelendiği bu çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemi ve literatür tarama, doküman inceleme ve arşiv tarama teknikleri kullanılmış, elde edilen veriler üzerinde içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, örnekleme alınan kaynaklar incelendiğinde usûl kavramının ve bu kavramı oluşturan dinamiklerin açıklamalarında bir standart olmadığı kitapların hem kendi içlerinde hem de birbirleri arasında farklılıklar ve/veya çelişkiler olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

It is one of the two basic elements of Turkish music; it plays an important role in the performance of Turkish music, in the education and teaching and in the introduction to the future. Therefore, the knowledge of the process is determined as a pre-condition in the traditional educational model. Therefore, the expression of the concept of usul is also important to understand the concept of usul (usul, ritim, düzüm, measure, gider, metronom, darb, mertebe and velvele). Differences in learning and transmitting concepts are observed in written sources. With the popularity of the Western music rating in Turkish music, the theory books written in this field have increased to the present day, and many of these books have also been included in the processes. In this work, XX. From the century to the century, the definitions of the dynamics that make up the process and the process in the books taken to the processes of Turkish music have been drawn up; these definitions have been placed in evaluations and comments. In this study, in which the expressions related to the concept of the process in written sources used in the Turkish music process education-education, the quality research method and literature scanning, document examination and archive scanning techniques used, content analysis on the obtained data was made. As a result, when the sampled sources are studied, it has been found that there is no standard in the explanation of the concept of process and the dynamics that make up this concept; the books have differences and/or contradictions both within themselves and between each other.

Abstract:

Usul being one of primary element of Turkish Music has a important role in performing Turkish music, its education and its transfer to future. Therefore, to know usul was determined as prior condition in “meşk” system being traditional education model. Thus, factors connected with usul concept (usul, rhythm, düzüm, meter, gider, metronome, darb, mertebe and velvele) is important in terms of understanding usul. It’s monitored differences in written sources about transfering and learning mentioned concepts.  With gaining wide currency of western music notation in Turkish Music, theory books written in this field has showed an increase until today and in these books usuls were handled too. In this research, “usul” in books penned from 20. century about Turkish Music Usul, descriptions of dynamics composing usul were studied and considerations and comments about these descriptions were examined.  In this research studying elements related usul concept in written sources used in Turkish music usul education, qualitative research method and literature review, document review, archive review techniques was used and about acquired datas content analysis was wade. As a result, when sources got sample were examined, it was detected usul concept and its forming dynamics descriptions has no standart and it was detected contradictions and differences both in books itself and between themselves.
