Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesi Uygulamalı Bilimler Yüksekokulu Bankacılık ve Finans Bölümü Mezunu Öğrencilerinin Ekonomiye Katkılarının Tespitine Yönelik Bir Araştırma

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerde işletmelerin vasıflı ara eleman ihtiyacını karşılamada, Meslek Yüksekokullarının ve onun bir üst versiyonu olan Uygulamalı Bilimler Yüksekokullarının öneminin yadsınamaz bir gerçek olduğundan hareketle, bankacılık ve finans sektörlerinde çalışacak meslek elemanı yetiştirmeye gayret gösteren okulumuzdan 2006-2019 yılları arasında mezun olan öğrencilerimiz incelenmiştir. Yapılan araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin mesleki eğitimde beklenti ve motivasyonlarının genel olarak yüksek düzeyde olduğunu, bu durumun öğrencilerin günümüzde daha çok bilinçlendiklerini ve ne istediklerinin daha farkında olduklarını ortaya koymaktadır. Bu kapsamda Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesi Uygulamalı Bilimler Yüksekokulu Bankacılık ve Finans Bölümü mezun öğrencilerinden 234 öğrenciye 26 sorudan oluşan anket uygulanmıştır. Ankete verilen cevaplardaki ifadelerin dağılımları frekans analizleri ile yapılmıştır. Tüm analizler SPSS 16.0 programında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Buna göre istihdam edilen 181 kişiden yüzde 52.5’ini oluşturan 95 kişinin üniversite hayatında okudukları bankacılık ve finans bölümleriyle alakalı sektörlerde çalıştığı, istihdam edilenlerin yüzde 63’ünün özel sektörde, yüzde 32.6’sının kamu sektöründe olduğu ve mezun öğrencilerimizin yüzde 4.4.’ünün kendi işinin sahibi olarak girişimci oldukları sonuçlarına varılmıştır.

Abstract:

In this study, in addressing the needs of skilled intermediaries of in developed and developing countries, the importance of Professional High Schools and its top version of Applied Sciences High Schools is a remarkable fact, our students who graduated from 2006-2019 years from our school, which strives to train professional elements to work in the banking and financial sectors, are studied. The results of the research show that the expectations and motivations of students in professional education are generally high, and that the situation is more aware of the students today and they are more aware of what they want. In this context, the survey of 26 questions from 234 students from the Graduate School of Banking and Finance of Manisa Celal Bayar University of Applied Sciences was implemented. The distribution of expressions in the answers to the survey was made through frequency analysis. All analyses are performed in the SPSS 16.0 program. According to this, 95 of the employed 181 people, which make up 52.5 per cent, work in the sectors related to the banking and financial departments they study in the university life, 63 per cent of the employed are in the private sector, 32.6 per cent are in the public sector and 4.4 per cent of our graduate students.Their ownership as the owner of their own business.

In this study, considering that the importance of Vocational Schools and Applied Sciences Schools, which is an upper version of it, in meeting the qualified intermediate staff needs of enterprises in developed and developing countries is an undeniable fact, our school, which strives to train professional staff to work in the banking and finance sectors, has graduated from our school between 2006-2019, students were examined. According to the results of the research, the expectations and motivations of the students in vocational education are generally at a high level, and this situation reveals that the students are more conscious today and are more aware of what they want. In this context, a questionnaire consisting of 26 questions was applied to 234 students who graduated from Manisa Celal Bayar University, School of Applied Sciences, Department of Banking and Finance. The distribution of the expressions in the answers given to the questionnaire was made by frequency analysis. All analyzes were performed in SPSS 16.0 program. According to this, it was concluded that 95 people, 52.5 percent of the 181 employed people, worked in sectors related to the banking and finance departments they studied at university, 63 percent of the employed people were working in the private sector, 32.6 percent were working in the public sector and 4.4 percent were entrepreneurs.
