Abstract:

Fiskesir is on an important road route that connects Istanbul and Bursa to İzmir before the Republican Period. The city has managed to preserve its unique center in the same area for many years. The street that connects the Railway Station with the former Government Square in the early 1900s is the street today called the National Forces. The construction of the New Government House Building, Governor's House Building and Birthday Building on the Vasıf Çınar Street where the train station is located has enabled the development of Vasıf Çınar Street and the city in this position. After the arrival of Ernst Egli to the country in 1927, who dedicated himself to chemistry projects, he was given urban design tasks in Ankara as well as throughout the country. In search of an architecture suitable for its people, climate, natural structure and cultural heritage, Egli, who adopts the concept of reflecting national identity in architecture, is asked to plan the Fiskesir city in 1939. The study of the Ibrahim CUMALI House; the early Republican period is a private housing designed with an architectural formation in accordance with the local conditions also encountered in Egli's design understanding. The President of the Republic was also visited during the visit to the city of Nammet INNÖN. The housing registered as a product of the qualified construction of the early Republic period is likely to disappear due to rant concerns if no measures are taken. Therefore, in the study, in the context of the architectural philosophy of the house of Ibrahim Cumali, which represents the qualified construction of the period, the project of relief, restoration and restoration was prepared, and the cultural existence values were drawn up in order to be transferred to future generations.
