Halk biliminin konuları halkın, uzun zaman tecrübe ederek öğrendiği bilgileri gelenekselleştirerek nesilden nesile aktarmasıyla günümüze kadar gelebilmiş değerlerdir. Halk bilimi içerisine türküler, ağıtlar, atasözleri, deyimler, adak ya da sünnet gelenekleri gibi çoğu günümüze kadar aktarılmış ve toplum içinde hâlâ sürekliliğini devam ettirebilen bilgi çeşitleri girer. Halk bilimi unsurlarının nesiller arasında aktarılmasını sağlayan kaynakların başında yazılı eserler gelir. Modern dönemde bu görevi üstlenen kaynaklardan biri de romandır. Özellikle yaşadıkları coğrafyanın geleneklerinden faydalanarak romanlarını kaleme alan yazarların eserleri, halk bilimi unsurlarının incelenmesi ve aktarılması açısından oldukça değerlidir. Bulgaristan Türk edebiyatı yazarlarından Sabri Tata da romanlarını halk bilimi unsurlarından faydalanarak yazar. Onun romanlarını halk bilimi unsurları açısından incelemek, Bulgaristan Türklerinin Türk kültürünü nasıl koruduğunu görmeyi sağlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sabri Tata’nın Kurtbayır’ın Sırrı romanında yer verilen halk bilimi unsurlarını tespit etmek, elde edilen veriler ışığında Bulgaristan Türklerinin, yaşam biçimini, inanışlarını ve Türk kültürüne sahip çıkmalarını tahlil etmektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Romanda tespit edilen halk bilimi unsurları tasnif edilmiş, romandan alıntılanan örnekler bağlamında incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda Sabri Tata’nın yaşadığı dönemi, Deliorman coğrafyasını ve halkın kültürünü, romanda başarılı bir biçimde işlediği ve pek çok halk bilimi unsurunu kullandığı tespit edilmiştir.
The subjects of popular science are values that can come to the present day by traditionalizing the information that the people have learned through long experience from generation to generation. People's science enters a variety of information that has been transmitted to the present day, such as turquoise, paperwork, speech, phrase, adak or sunset traditions, and which can still continue its continuity within society. In the beginning of the sources that enable the transmission of the elements of public science between generations comes written works. One of the sources that took this role in modern times is the novel. In particular, the works of the writers who take advantage of the traditions of the geography they live and write their novels are very valuable in terms of the study and transmission of the elements of public science. The Bulgarian Turkish literature writer Sabri Tata also writes his novels taking advantage of the elements of public science. The study of his novels in terms of the elements of public science allows you to see how the Bulgarian Turks preserve the Turkish culture. The aim of this study is to identify the public science elements in the Sabri Tata's Secret novel of Kurtbayir, and to evaluate Bulgarian Turks, their way of life, their beliefs and their possession of Turkish culture in the light of the data obtained. The research method has been used by research methods. The elements of public science identified in the novel are identified in the context of the examples quoted in the novel. The study found that the period in which Sabri Tata lived, the Deliorman geography and the culture of the people, had successfully worked in the novel and used many popular science elements.
The subjects of folklore are values that have survived throughout generations thanks to the fact that societies have traditionalized their knowledge drawn from their experiences. Folklore includes knowledge types as folk songs, elegies, idioms, proverbs, religious offerings and circumcision traditions, etc., which are all transferred to modern days and maintain their continuity. One of the most prominent sources that enables folkloric elements to be transferred throughout generations is written works. The one that undertakes this mission in modern ages is novel. The works of authors who write their novels through the traditions of the geography they live are significant in terms of examining and transferring folkloric elements. One of the authors of Bulgarian Turkish literature, Sabri Tata write their works using folkloric elements. Examining his works in terms of folkloric elements enables better observation of how Bulgarian Turks preserve Turkish culture. The present study aims to determine folkloric elements included in Kurtbayır’ın Sırrı by Sabri Tata and examine the lifestyle and beliefs of Bulgarian Turks and their preservation of Turkish culture. The study uses scanning method from qualitative research methods. The folkloric elements determined in the novel are classified and examined in the context of examples cited from the novel. The study concludes that Sabri Tata discusses his period, the geography of Deliorman and the culture of society successfully and uses plenty of folkloric elements.
