Okulöncesi dönemden başlayarak öğretimin her aşamasında çocukların farklı sanatlarla buluşturulması çocuğun sanat eğitimi süreci açısından önemli ve gereklidir. Çocuğun farklı sanatlarla buluştuğu ortamlardan biri de çocuk edebiyatı ürünleridir. Bu nitelikteki ürünler görsel ve dilsel metinler yoluyla çocukları öteki sanatlarla buluşturur, doğal kurgusu içinde bu sanatların önemini ve gerekliliğini duyumsatır ve böylece çocukların bütüncül bir sanat eğitiminden geçmesine katkıda bulunur. Çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri gerek içerik ve tasarım özellikleri açısından gerekse başka açılardan birçok çalışmanın konusu olmuş ancak bu nitelikteki ürünlerin çocuğu öteki sanatlarla buluşturma işlevini ortaya koymak amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bir çalışmaya rastlanmamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, çocuk edebiyatı adı altında çok satılan kitaplarda çocukları sanatın farklı dallarıyla buluşturacak, onlara bu sanatların önemini duyumsatacak anlatımların olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın inceleme nesnesi, nitel araştırma yaklaşımı içinde yer alan amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden “ölçüt örnekleme” yoluyla belirlenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında incelenecek kitaplar «Idefix Online Kitabevi» adlı kitap satış sitesinin ve “D&R Kitabevi”nin çok satılan çocuk kitapları sayfalarından alınmıştır. Bu amaçla her iki sitenin listesinde ortaklık gösteren 20 kitap incelenmek üzere seçilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda çok satılan çocuk kitaplarının farklı sanatların olanaklarını yazınsal bir biçimde yansıttığı, çocukta bu sanatlara karşı farkındalık yaratacak nitelikte olduğu görülmüştür.
The meeting of children with different arts in every stage of teaching, starting from the pre-school period, is important and necessary for the child’s art education process. One of the environments where children meet with different arts is children's literature products. Products of this quality, through visual and linguistic texts, encounter children with other arts, senses the importance and necessity of these arts in their natural imagination, and thus contribute to the transition of children through a comprehensive art education. Children's literature products have been the subject of many studies from other aspects, whether in terms of content and design characteristics; however, this quality of products has not been found in a study conducted in order to reveal the function of meeting the child with other arts. The aim of this study is to determine whether in books that are widely sold under the name of children’s literature, children will meet with different branches of art, whether there are stories that will make them feel the importance of these arts. The research was conducted by a quality research approach. The objects of the study are determined by means of "sample measurement" from the purposes of sample methods included in the quality research approach. The books to be studied in the framework of the study were taken from the book sales site «Idefix Online Library» and the best-selling children’s books pages of «D&R Library». For this purpose, 20 books that are partnered in the list of both sites have been selected to be reviewed. The study has shown that the children’s books that are widely sold reflects the possibilities of different arts in a written form, and that they are able to create awareness of these arts in the child.
