The main objective of this study is to identify the basic geographical characteristics of the Erzurum province using the current data, the analytical hierarchical process includes the identification of potential agricultural fields in accordance with the processed agricultural activities, the AHP-Fuzzy approach and the CBS analysis methods. For the determination of potential areas suitable for the processed agriculture of the Erzurum province with a size of approximately 25,000 km2, four land properties, including inclination, depth, erosion, main material, and five land properties, including organic material, volume weight, buye, pH and curtain, were used 9 criteria in total. For the purpose of determining the elevation and curvation characteristics, the 10m pixels resolution number height model (SYM), numerical geology and land maps, CORINE land use land cover, long-year meteorological data and 329 land samples taken from the area have been used. According to the results obtained, 19.64% of the area belonging to the total provincial border is determined to be highly appropriate and appropriate for processed agriculture at S1 and S2 levels, while 49.45% is not suitable for processed agriculture activities.
