The intensive care environment is high risk due to the possibility of infection, injury and dangerous materials; It is a stressful environment with the necessity of making quick decisions, the unexpected findings and the threat of situations that put life in danger. Ethical problems can develop rapidly and this can often be related to different disciplines.Nurses are the key people in the development of moral values in the field of health, which require long-term relationships with patients and their families, advocacy, counseling and training roles. For this reason, nurses need to understand the basic concepts, theories, principles, ethical problems and ethical decision-making models related to ethics. This article is a review of the literature aiming to emphasize ethical issues and ethical approach in the care of intensive care patients
