Bu araştırmanın amacı; yaratıcı yazma çalışmaları ile ilkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin, Türkçe sözlük kullanımı ve kelime defteri oluşturmasının yaratıcı yazmaya etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırma verilerinin toplanması, analizi ve yorumlanmasında nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan gözlem tekniği uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulama kısmı 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Alanya’da orta sosyo-ekonomik düzeyde iki ilkokulun 4. sınıflarında öğrenim gören 297 öğrenci ile 14 haftalık süreçte gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma süresince deney grubunda sözlük kullanımıyla birlikte kelime defteri oluşturma çalışmaları, yaratıcı yazma uygulamaları yapılırken, kontrol grubunda Türkçe Öğretim Programına uygun olarak geleneksel yöntemle Türkçe dersleri işlenmiştir. Gruplara ön test ve son test uygulanmış olup sonuçlar ‘Yaratıcı Yazma için Değerlendirme Ölçütleri Formu’ kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sosyo ekonomik düzey ve cinsiyetler arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığı da incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; Türkçe sözlük kullanımı ve kelime defteri oluşturma uygulamalarının 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin okuduğunu anlama, kelime dağarcığının artırılması, yazma ve yaratıcı yazma becerilerinin gelişiminde etkili olmuştur. Uygulamalara katılan öğrenciler sürece ilişkin olumlu geri bildirimlerde bulunmuşlar ve yazmaya yönelik bakış açılarının, tutumlarının olumlu yönde değiştiğini belirtmişlerdir.
The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of creative writing work and primary school fourth grade students, the use of the Turkish dictionary and the creation of a dictionary on creative writing. In the collection, analysis and interpretation of research data, observation technique is applied from quality research methods. The application of the study was carried out in the course of 14 weeks with 297 students studying in the 4th grade of two primary schools at the middle socio-economic level in Alanya in the 2021-2022 educational year. During the research period, the work of creating dictionary with the use of dictionary in the experimental group, creative writing practices are carried out, while in the control group, the Turkish lessons are processed in traditional methods in accordance with the Turkish Teaching Program. The groups were tested in advance and the final test, and the results were evaluated using the 'Creative Writing Evaluation Measures Form'. It has also been studied whether there is a significant difference between social and economic levels and gender. According to the results of the research, the use of Turkish dictionary and vocabulary creation practices have been effective in understanding that 4th grade students read, enhancing vocabulary, developing writing and creative writing skills. Students who participated in the practice had positive feedback about the course and pointed out that their views on writing, their attitudes changed in a positive direction.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of creative reading and creative writing activities on primary school fourth-grade students, using a dictionary and creating a vocabulary book on creative writing. The observation technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods was used in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of research data. The application part of the research was carried out in 14 weeks with 297 students who studying in the 4th grade of two primary schools at the middle socio-economic level in Alanya in the 2021-2022 academic year. During the research, while creating a vocabulary book with the use of a dictionary and creative writing practices were carried out in the experimental group, Turkish lessons were taught with the traditional method by the Turkish Curriculum in the control group. Pre-test and post-test were applied to the groups and the results were evaluated using the 'Assessment Criteria Form for Creative Writing'. It was also examined whether there was a significant difference between socio-economic levels and genders. According to the research results; creative writing practices were effective in increasing the reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and creative writing skills of 4th-grade students. The students who participated in the applications expressed positive opinions about the process and stated that their perspectives and attitudes towards writing changed positively.
