Abstract:

STEM activitie sthatcould set an example for Science, Engineering and Entrepreneurship Practices were prepared with middle school 5th grade students. The effects of STEM activities, which are based on their applications, on students' entrepreneurship skills were examined.STEM activities, which are the independent variable of the research, were applied by considering the Project Based Learning approach. The research is an experimental study. Preliminary experimental design used in the research developing of a new training module and using in the implementation of STEM activities was benefited. Sampling method was chosen by considering the possibilities and differences in determining the study group. Data were collected with the help of observation forms and rubrics created by the researcher. Frequency distribution, percentage, and averages of each group from the observation form and rubrics for each item in the rubrics were compared by showing the tables. As a result of the research, the effects of STEM activities on entrepreneurial skills in student products were examined. It has been concluded that the project work prepared as extra-class STEM activities contributes to the development of students' entrepreneurship skills and that awareness has been created in the students that they should work on the promotion and marketing of the products they produce.
