Abstract:

Unfortunately, one of the important names of the Turkish poetry of the Republic period is Attila Ilhan. Attila Ilhan, who gives important works in almost every field of literature, novel, script, criticism, newspaper, experimentation, has actually been loved by his poems, and has established the throne with his poems in the hearts of literary lovers. The poet, who managed to announce his name at a very young age, left unforgettable works with his own style in the poetry that he continued until the end of his life. Although Attila Ilhan was seen to be under the influence of Nazim Hikmet, one of the important poets of Turkish Literature at first, in the subsequent periods it was able to very successfully combine popular literature and divan literature with its own style and style is one of the characteristics that distinguishes it from other poets. Atilâ Ilhan's interest in classical literature is so big that his father, Bedri Ilhan, who loves Divan literature, can not be overlooked. This is why it is possible to find the characteristics of Divan literature in the poems of Attila Ilhan and understand why it places the Ottoman words and structures. It is extremely rich in terms of words and structures of Ottoman, especially Arabic and Persian origin. In this article, we will try to study the Arabic-based words that pass in the poem book I have to do, which represents the poet's "period of creating his own line (1954-1962)" (Steel, 2003, p. 7-13) . In particular, the common words used in the same meaning in Turkish and Arabic instead of the common words used in different meanings than Arabic will be focused on the topic whether they will be used in the Arabic translation.
