Cumhuriyet’in kurulmasının ardından bir dizi talimatnameyle eğitimin her aşamasını içeren düzenlemeler getirilmiş, düşünsel anlamda yeni bir nesil inşa etme ve eğitimi toplumun her kademesine yayma amacı doğrultusunda ülkenin dört bir yanında eğitim seferberliği yaşanmaya başlamıştır. Anadolu’nun merkezinde yer alan ve uzun yıllar ilim merkezi olma özelliğini koruyan Konya şehrinde söz konusu süreçte aynı amaç doğrultusunda pek çok eğitim yapısı inşa edilmiştir. Konya’da Erken Cumhuriyet Döneminde inşası tamamlanan yapıların büyük çoğunluğunu tip proje olarak Anadolu’nun çeşitli kentlerinde de aynı süreçte inşa edilmiş, strüktür, plan ve tasarım bağlamında birbirini tekrar eden yapılar oluşturmuştur. Şehir merkezinde inşa edilen tip projeler kısa sürede ihtiyaçlar dahilinde ilçelere de yayılmış, özellikle neoklasik cepheler ve simetrik planlar aynı dönemde tamamlanan okul binalarının büyük kısmında uygulanmıştır. Konya şehir merkezinde bulunan tip projelerin dışında ilçelere bağlı köylerde küçük ölçekli okullar, aynı dönem Anadolu’da görülen “ikinci tip proje” ya da “köy okulu projesi” olarak adlandırılan, kurulum sürecinde işlevselliğin başat olduğu eğitim yapılarına örnek oluşturmuştur. Cumhuriyet’in erken dönemlerinde Konya’da, tip proje ve ikinci tip projelerin yanı sıra modern mimariye ait unsurlar taşıyan bir eğitim yapısı da inşa edilerek dönem mimarisi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmesi ve tartışılması gereken önemli örnekler yaratılmıştır. Çalışmada yer verilen yapılar, Konya Koruma, Uygulama ve Denetim Bürosu tarafından farklı tarihlerde tescil edilmiş, günümüze ulaşabilen, ilk inşa amacı “okul” olan yapılardır. Cumhuriyet’in erken dönemlerinde inşa edildiği bilinen Konya Kız Tatbikat Okulu ve Seydişehir Bostandere İlkokulu, koruma kurulu tarafından tescil edilmelerine rağmen geçirdikleri büyük değişim ve özgün özelliklerini neredeyse tamamen yitirmeleri sebebiyle çalışmaya dahil edilmemiştir. Bu çalışmada kısaca Türk eğitim tarihinde yaşanan gelişmelere değinilerek, Konya şehir merkez, ilçe ve ilçelere bağlı köylerinde Cumhuriyet’in ilk on beş yılına tarihlendirilebilecek eğitim yapılarının plan, cephe ve üslup özellikleri bakımından ele alınıp değerlendirilmesi öngörülmüştür.
After the establishment of the Republic with a series of instructions, arrangements that include every phase of education have been introduced, the purpose of building a new generation in the mental sense and spreading education to every phase of society has begun to experience educational mobility across the country. In the city of Konya, which is located in the center of Anadolu and has long preserved its characteristic of being a science center, many educational structures have been built for the same purpose in the process. The large majority of the buildings completed in the Early Republic Period in Konya, as a type project, were built in the various cities of Anadolu in the same process, structural, planned and designed structures that repeated each other in the context. The type of projects built in the city centre soon spread to the districts within the needs, especially the neoclassic fronts and symmetric plans were implemented in the majority of the school buildings completed in the same period. Apart from the type of projects located in the center of the city of Konya, small-scale schools in the districts related to the districts have formed an example of the educational structures in which functionality in the installation process is headquarters, known as the "second type project" or "school project" in the same period in Anadolu. In the early periods of the Republic in Konya, a type project and second type projects, as well as an educational structure that carries elements of modern architecture, were built and important examples were created to be evaluated and discussed in the framework of period architecture. The structures included in the study are structures that are the first construction purpose "school" which can be reached to date, registered on different dates by the Conya Protection, Application and Audit Bureau. The known Konya Girl Exercise School and Seydişehir Bostandere Primary School, which was built in the early periods of the Republic, were not included in the work despite their registration by the protection council, because they almost completely lost their great change and original characteristics. In this study, briefly referring to the developments in the Turkish education history, it is predicted that the educational structures that can be dated to the first fifteen years of the Republic in the village of Konya city center, district and districts will be addressed and evaluated in terms of the plan, front and structure characteristics.
