So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.
How can I see only citations to my article?
After searching the name of your article, you can see the references to the article you selected as soon as you click on the details section.

TRAKYA AĞIZLARINDA KULLANILAN BİTKİ ADLARI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Abstract:

Abstract:

From the early centuries to the present day, man has been required to give names to the animals and plants that are closest to his species. These names are also often attempted to meet with the structures they see as concrete in nature (colour, shape, functionality, etc.). The appearance of plant names in Turkish is also a process that begins with the first existence of the language and continues until today. Our work area, the Trakya region, has been an important agricultural pool in all periods of history. It also preserved its characteristic of being one of the many regions of the world in terms of forest tissue. The region’s both east (Turkish Trakya) and west (Greece and Bulgaria Trakya) are similar in terms of plant cover and agricultural functionality. The languages of the Turkish communities that naturally live in the region also provide a parallel with this geographical similarity in terms of their use of plant names and words. In this study, although it is within the borders of different states, there is both a meaningful and structural classification of the names used by the Turks living in the region of Trakya, which are richly using the same language’s characteristics for the plants.

Abstract:

From antiquity to present day mankind has felt the need to give various names to the animals and plants that are around them. They generally tried to match these names by the use of concrete terms in the nature (based on colour, shape, functionality, etc.). The emergence of Turkish names of plants is a process that starts with the first existence of language and continues until today. Thracian region, which is our research field, has been an important agricultural basin in all periods of history. It has also maintained its position as one of the world's most important regions in terms of forest tree texture. Both the eastern (Turkey Thrace) and the western (Greek and Bulgarian Thrace) parts of the region are similar in terms of vegetation and agricultural functionality. Naturally, the Turkish communities living in the region are parallel to this geographical similarity in terms of their use in language, plant names and vocabulary. In this study, there are both semantic and structural classifications of names used by Turks living in the Thrace region, even though they use the same language features richly within the borders of three different countries.
