Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının çocuk haklarına yönelik görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırmada durum çalışması deseni kullanılarak çocuk haklarına ilişkin okul öncesi öğretmen adaylarının görüşleri nitel veri toplama araçlarından görüşme yöntemiyle tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını bir devlet üniversitesinin okul öncesi öğretmenliği bölümünde eğitim gören 38 lisans öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Öğrenciler tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden amaçlı örnekleme yolu ile seçilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının çoğunlukla eğitim, yaşama ve barınma haklarına odaklandığı bulunmuştur. Katılımcılar katılım hakkına istenilen düzeyde değinmemiştir. Öğretmen adayları çocukların haklarını korumada en önemli paydaşların aileler, öğretmenler, adalet çalışanları ve toplum olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Öğretmen adayları kendilerinin çocuklara karşı en fazla ihmal ve istismardan koruma ve onlara eğitim hakkını sağlama gibi yükümlülükleri olduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Son olarak öğretmen adayları çocuk hakları konusundaki mevcut uygulama ve politikaları büyük oranda yetersiz bulmaktadırlar. Araştırmanın sonuçları çerçevesinde bu alandaki uygulama ve politikaların gözden geçirilmesi ve çocuk hakları konusundaki olumsuz yargıların kırılması için çalışmalar yapılması önerilebilir.

The Investigation Of The Views Of Preschool Teacher Canditates About Children Rights

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to investigate the views’ of preschool teacher canditates about children rights. The research was designed as a case study and interview method was used to collect data. 38 participants which are student at a state university were included to study and they are chosen by using purposive sampling. According to results, it is found that participants mostly focused on right to education, right to life and right to accommodation. Participants did not adequately mention participation right. They think that the most important stakeholders who protect children rights are parents, teachers, justice workers and society. Participants stated that they have responsibilities on protecting children from child abuse and neglect and providing right to education to them. Finally, they stated the policies and programs about protecting rights were inadeqaute. It is suggested to review our policies and and to make some programs that reduce some negative aspects to children rights.
