KORUYUCU AİLELERİN, YANLARINA YERLEŞTİRİLEN ÇOCUK YA DA ÇOCUKLARLA AİLE İÇİNDE YAŞADIKLARI SORUNLAR VE BAŞA ÇIKMA YOLLARI

Abstract:

Amaç; Bu çalışmanın amacı, koruyucu ailelerin, yanlarına yerleştirilen çocuk ya da çocuklarla ne gibi sorunlar yaşadıklarını ve bu sorunlarla nasıl başa çıktıklarını ortaya koymaktır. Yöntem, Araştırmanın evrenini, Sivas’ta ikamet eden 20 Koruyucu Aile (koruyucu ailelerin 18’i Sivas merkezde, 2’si ise Sivas’ın Gemerek ve Gürün İlçelerinde ikamet etmektedir) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma evrendeki her aileye sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel özellikleri ile ilgili açık ve kapalı uçlu sorulardan oluşan toplam 34 soru sorulmuş, elde edilen verilere tanımlayıcı istatistiklerden olan çapraz tablo analizi uygulanmıştır. Analizler için SPSS 15.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar, Araştırmaya katılan ailelere, yanınıza yerleştirilen çocuk ya da çocuklarla aile içerisinde sorun yaşıyor musunuz? sorusu yöneltildiğinde ailelerin % 70.0’ı hayır cevabını verirken, %30.0’ı evet cevabını vermiştir. Evet cevabını veren ailelere, bu sorunların neler olduğu sorulduğunda %25.0’ı evdeki kurallara uymama, %5.0’ı evdeki diğer çocuk ya da çocuklarla iyi geçinememe-onlarla yarış içinde olma, %15.0’ı gamsız davranma, her şeye boş verme, %10.0’ı ise diğer seçenek olan çocuğun engelli olması, ders çalışmaması ve akrabaların çocuklarıyla geçinememesi gibi cevaplar vermişlerdir. Aile içinde yaşanan bu sorunları çözmeye çalışırken nasıl bir yol izliyorsunuz? Sorusuna ise ailelerin %85.0’ı oturup konuşuyoruz, %15.0’ı ise sorun yok yanıtını vermişlerdir.

Abstract:

Purpose; The aim of this study is to present the types of problems experienced by a child or children in foster home care as well as the methods they use in coping with these problems. Method,The universe of the study is composed of 20 Foster Parents located in Sivas (18 of the foster parents live in the center of Sivas, while the remaining two live Gemerek and Gurun districts). Each foster parent was asked a total of 34 open and close-ended questions about their socioeconomic and cultural characteristics. The data obtained were analyzed through the cross-tabular analysis among the descriptive statistics. Analysis was carried out on the SPSS package software. Results,The participating foster parents were asked whether they experienced any problems in the family with the child or children placed under their foster home care and this question was responded as “no” by 70.0% of the participants, while 30.0% responded as “yes”. Foster parents, who responded as “yes” were asked to explain these problems and 25.0% mentioned the reason as failing to obey the rules at home. Respectively, 5.0% stated that the problem was failing to get along well or competing with the other children at home, while 15.0% talked about acting ignorantly as well as being indifferent to everything, and 10.0% indicated that the problems occurred because the second child was handicapped, did not study and did not get along with the children of the relatives. The question on the methods used in coping with these problems were responded by 85.0% of the foster parents that they sat down together and talked about these problems, while 15.0% responded that there was no problem.
