Abstract:

Made during the Tanzimat reforms began to be established in every area. Initiatives, especially in the field of Public Works under the XIX. given great importance to the issue of the road in the second half of the century, and for many years was initiated studies for the rehabilitation of neglected roads. Government, prepared by the projects to build new roads, worked to repair the old ways, many of regulation was published about them. Councils Reconstruction efforts after the Tanzimat, the empire had begun the adventure of the road. Giving priority to creating a transportation stipulated in the zoning Councils, to identify ways to do these councils serve as the primary task was given to regions. In 1848, the first job out of the Black Sea, Central Anatolia to Arabia, decided that the way to connect the highway between Trabzon and Baghdad. However, due to lack of sufficient grounds for this treasure, this initiative was postponed.
