Abstract:

The use of external resources is defined as the service received from specialized enterprises in the subjects that remain outside the area that companies should focus mainly. In a globalized world, must seek ways to gain competitive advantage, to lower costs and at the same time to raise their performance. Therefore, the use of external resources has begun to grow more and more everyday in terms of companies. One of the important factors that influence the competitiveness is the logistics substructure. For the logistics substructure, it is important to develop transport networks, integration, labour training and information processing substructure. The excess of bureaucratic transactions in the customs, the lack of technical substrate, are also the issues that the sector points to its importance. Companies are going to use external resources in cases where they are unable to deal with these problems. The main purpose of the research is to determine the company’s performance in the framework of the companies’ external resources use levels and the logistical infrastructure problems they may face. Another purpose of the research is also to measure what kind of problems with the companies served in the external resource use process and the level of relationships established with these companies. The examples of the study consist of companies operating in the Sivas Organized and Industrial Region. The data in the survey was collected by the survey method and the face-to-face survey method was selected. The results of the research were tested using the SPSS program and the correlation analysis.
