Abstract:

Although the majority of the factors that create stress in the work environment are common, the tolerance that individuals working in different professions show to stress may be different. The aim of the study is to figure out whether there is a difference between stress levels perceived by determining the stress levels of employees in different professions and how they can cope with stress. In the framework of this goal, 287 employees from 8 different professions, including teachers, students, academics, health staff, soldiers / police, bankers, accountants and miners, have been surveyed. The obtained data was analyzed through factor analysis, correlation analysis and one-way variance analysis. The results show that the stress levels differ from the point of view of the profession. The results also show that the ways of coping with stress are different in terms of professions. However, the research findings show that there is a positive and meaningful relationship between the self-assured approach and the optimistic approach and the negative and meaningful, desperate approach and the negative approach and the negative approach. The work contributes to the discussion of different professional groups.
