Abstract:

The purpose of the study is 6th. The class in the Visual Arts course, unlike the course activities included in the program, is to present suggestions to be developed in this course based on the data that will be obtained using the educational game method from the museums. This study was conducted in the 2011-2012 Education and Teaching Year of Ankara Elmadağ Namık Kemal Primary School II. The 6th grade was performed by students. The experimental pattern method is used with the Öntest-sontest control group. The access test and attitude scale prepared for the experiment (6-A, n=29) and control groups (6-B, n=28) under the research, the same tests were applied as the experimental process pre-intest, the same tests were applied as the experimental process post-intest. The activities included in the Visual Arts Course program for the control group students were implemented within the classroom; for the experiment group students, in addition to these events, students were taken to the Ankara State Painting Statue Museum and the museum was implemented on the game-based museum events developed for students in the museum. Four (4) weeks after the work of the art history line, the same access test and attitude scale were applied as a monitoring test. The results of the research have shown that the game-based museum events in the Ankara State Painting and Statue Museum are effective in increasing the level of access of students and attitude towards the Visual Arts Course.
