Abstract Art Courses passed a process in which amendment of name and content, and besides course hours was made according to conditions of Turkey and changing education paradigms especially with education reforms started with II. Constitutional Monarchy until early of 21st century in Turkey. The purpose of this study is to display the evolution which the course evolved and evolving on the scale of course hours touching briefly to the names and contents of the art courses in primary and secondary education from past to present. By this way, it is believed that requirements, necessities and obligations will be recalled in a stressed form. Literature review has been made in this study and the study has been prepared according to the general reviewing model. The acquired data has been reorganized in tabular.
