Abstract:

It is a residential area in Erbaa City, located between the Black Sea Climate and Central Anatolia Terrestrial Climate. The climate characteristics of the site are influenced by the Basalt-based Continental Tropical (cP) in the summer of Anatolia and by the Maritime Polar-Continental air masses which are introduced into the country through the Black Sea and Balkans in winter. Besides these, the fact that the city is located on a depression area has also influenced the climate of the region. The average annual temperature of the study area is 31 ° C (1964-1995) and the average temperature is 14 ° C. The highest temperature is measured in July-August and the lowest in January. Summer in the region is relatively hot, and winters are more mild than in the immediate surroundings of the city. The city has a summer temperature average of 22,7 °C and a winter temperature average of 4,9 °C. The average annual rainfall in the region is 440,4 mm. The summers are relatively dry (68,2 mm) and the winter season is rainier (125,1 mm). The highest rainfall is in spring (32,6%) and the lowest in summer (15,5%).
