The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between altruism, assertiveness and attitudes towards teaching profession. Participants were 207 students who were attending the master program and undergraduate programs in faculty of education. “Attitude Scale Toward Teaching”, “Altruism Scale” and “Rathus Assertiveness Schedule” have been used for collecting data. Data were analyzed by using ANOVA, t-test, chi-square and Pearson-Moment Coefficient Correlation Techniques. Results showed, students who have higher level of altruism have more positive attitudes towards teaching profession than students who have lower level of altruism. Assertive students are more altruistic than shy students. Women have more positive attitudes towards teaching profession than men.
