Abstract:

In our history of culture and literature, Evliya Celebi is at the beginning of the first people that come to mind as a traveler. His trips began in 1635 to various parts of Istanbul and lasted aproximately fifty years. Evliya Celebi had visited many places of the Ottoman geography and recorded what he saw during the trips. Ladik had been founded after the Christ. He identified and provide informations about name, history, social and economic life, culture and the importance on Ottoman of the Ladik. He wrote his views in his books named Seyahatname and came over to Ladik. This country is one of the oldest area in middle of Central Blacksea. In this article situation of the Ladik in 17th century will be explained by based on informations in Seyahatname and compared past and current situation of Ladik
